Gallatin Fire Protection District’s new fire station on Market Street is nearly complete by November, 2016. The delay of exterior completion has been the result of scheduling conflicts by the contractor. Volunteer firefighters are working to complete the interior of the building as planned and as time allows from their families, jobs and serving the community.

The new 80 feet wide by 140 feet long building will house fire apparatus and allow the district’s volunteer firefighters to train and prepare for responses. Volunteers assist the public on an average of 150 response requests per year.
