Jamesport Community Lake is approximately one mile north of Jamesport, MO, on Highway 190, then two miles west on Route RA.

Jamesport residents raised funds to buy the property, and the Conservation Department agreed to accept ownership and development of the lake. The lake was built in 1956, which was the first community lake built under such an agreement.
