Owings Mill & Produce once converted an adjacent service station (at 119 South Main Street) for storage and advertising purposes. This site later became the location of a brick office building for Production Credit Association. The owner and operator of the mill was Bob Owings who served as a Gallatin alderman and later as Daviess County Commissioner. (date unknown)
